3. Disadvantages of glass packaging

Glass packaging materials also have disadvantages such as low impact resistance,easy damage when colliding,high transportation costs and good light transmission will deteriorate the contents:

First of all,environmental pollution is serious.In the mining of siliceous raw materials in my country,10% to 15% of the available ore is discarded.The average yield of hard sandstone does not exceed 60% and the output rate of quartz sand after beneficiation does not exceed 70%.Utilization is low.Excessive energy consumption and resource consumption are more serious to environmental pollution.Harmful gas,smoke,waste residue,etc.discharged during raw material processing,harmful gas,smoke,waste residue,etc.discharged during glass melting,waste water,waste oil.etc,discharged during processing,all environment:

Second,production efficiency is low,my country’s glass packaging technology level is backward,product added value is low,product design lacks creativity and market competitiveness is insufficient.Although my country has made great progress in glass smelting technology,glass forming technology,raw materials quality control,etc.,there is still a big gap between us and developed countries in the entire international market;

Third,the recovery and reuse rate is low.The glass recovery rate in Japan is about 50%，that in Germany is about 80% and that in my country is only 20%.This will generate a lot of waste,which is not conducive to my country’s sustainable development
